No doubt Kelly can't hire coaches, but he basically told the guy he was fired the day before he got canned. Nobody just seemed to follow through.

Kelly would know, he's the guy that assigned him as special teams coach. Oh and remember he's the second ST's coach because the first guy he hired sucked complete arse
