Notre Dame will be a handful again

Seems like they are rounding into form.
Wouldn’t want to draw them in the playoffs.

Yup but the haters still care about a game in August.

Said it in response to every tired cliche thread about Notre Dame "stealing" a Playoff spot from "another worthy SEC team"
Have you watched ND play?
Not many have apparently, to start those lazy old trope threads...ND isn't taking away a spot from anyone IF they win out....no team outside the Top 5 would be favored over them or its a Pick 'em?. Oregon?..Texas Tech? Oklahoma? Ole Miss? Texas?

They were literally in a 1 score game in the 4th quarter against a 1 win BC team two weeks ago.

They can’t make a FG, that will hurt them when they play another good team.

They've played a powderpuff schedule. The two teams they've played that were good both beat them.
They've basically been playing the MSB posters since then.

got beat by the team getting housed by 3-6 Carolina

This is really hard to know until they have to play two tough teams back to back. This probably won’t happen until the playoffs. But outside the BC game they are playing better.

All that matters are the playoff games. Everything else is just worthless words. Cream puff or tough SEC schedule won’t matter when it comes to playing games in December. Y’all said the same thing exactly 1 year ago and ND beat your almight SEC Champion in the playoffs. Iron sharpening iron sure didn’t help the SEC with zero teams in the finals. That’s why your commish is begging to get 11 of the 12 playoff teams from his conference. We’ll see it again this year.

Doesn’t matter anyway. OSU 14 points better than the field

Refs just gifted ND at the end of the half.

No, they didn’t. Carr clearly had the ball on the ground.

Maybe Pitt should have cared about this game

It was the right call, but the ACC refs are sure giving Pitt a ton of help, just like BC got. Every stop is a questionable penalty for Pitt.

I hate to tell you my man but I wasn’t referencing the SEC schedule with my comments. Like you said “iron sharpens iron.” I can understand your being sensitive to the subject because there are tons of SEC homers constantly talking about the schedule here. I’m more of a general CFB fan, not beholden to any SEC bias. Cheers

Eh you’re using a one year sample size. SEC has two decades of domination and o e year does not change that.

Now that we've rid ourselves of Brian Kelly, and Notre Dame fans will be off our damn backs, I can return to a less clouded appreciation of what this current, Marcus Freeman-led iteration is accomplishing on the field.
Imperfect as they are, they're no longer the entirely overvalued enterprise of the past few decades; the talent and coaching has risen to the task of modern college football.
