He's going in the 1st and we already have 1 great and 1 "good enough" RB on the roster.

Not a chance.

Who the is great and good enough? We have an old rb at the end of his career, an often injured guy who just tore his acl, and late round rookie. We have jack and shite as far as sure things moving forward.

We need at least 2 new running backs and one needs some actual game breaking ability. It’s probably my biggest gripe about the Vele move. Early 4th round picks like that could get us a very talented guy at positions like rb on really cheap deals.

If by great you mean old and by good you mean unproven rookie or often injured young back, then sure.

He’s awesome. Saints roster is too bad to draft him.

The Giants went 34-64 with 1 playoff appearance, and three head coaches during his time there, just to have him leave and win a Super Bowl with the Eagles. Not sure I’d want that kind of impact.

Not saying he would be a bad pick, but our OL is so bad and we have so many other pressing needs this high in the draft.

Is a pipe dream when you have any many holes to fill as the Saints do

So 25-48 record and then trade him away to a Super Bowl team?

Who? LOL, Kamara is long in the tooth and a replacement needs to be groomed or at least allow him to rest some and extend his career. Kendre Miller’s problem is listed here.
Kendre Miller has missed 24 games in his NFL career with the New Orleans Saints through Week 10 of the 2025 season. This includes:
• 2023 (rookie season): Missed 9 of 17 games due to a knee injury (played 8).
• 2024: Missed 11 of 17 games due to hamstring injuries and a concussion in Week 17 (played 6).
• 2025 (ongoing): Missed 7 of 10 games due to a season-ending ACL tear in Week 7 (played 3).
