They’re holding Z and Poole out so they can trade them.

Building around Q, Fears, and Trey.

Trade Herb too and let Peavy take his minutes.

Took long enough. Can’t wait to see Borrego offense. Hope he displahs what he did in Charlotte.

Sounds like he had that graphic ready to go when they were 0-6.

This is true. Dumars is over Z.

It was inevitable. I'm really curious to see how good the team can be under Borrego.

I also guess that Borrego is going to get the rest of the season as a tryout.

teams that have made the playoffs after a poor start include the 2022-2023 New Orleans Pelicans (who started 1-11)

My alternative conspiracy is that Dumars was holding them out to ensure that the team looked bad enough so that Gayle's hand was forced, and Willie had to be fired.

On one hand I feel bad for Willie because he does seem like a nice guy, but when you don’t produce or adapt it’s time to go. Injuries have played some parts of his time as coach but we constantly saw the same problems over and over for years with no correction.

Curious to see how Borrego will do and how the players respond.
