Drink is knocking down $9MM at Mizzou where expectations are much lower than at LSU. Columbia is a nice town except it is hotter than Baton Rouge in the summer (Google it if you don't believe me) and a lot colder in the winter. After seeing the dumpster fire at LSU it would surprise me if he would even consider us.

I can believe the Fahrenheit temperature is slightly higher on average but no way the humidity is anything like it is down here

I spent a week in STL during the summer once & I swear that's the hottest place I've ever been in my life. It was miserable.

People joke about that picture but that was taken after he landed a recruit he had worked hard to get.
Eli does work hard. Something you may not know is he actually seems to enjoy recruiting. We have never had a recruiter as good as him at Missouri and he will be missed.

Y'all need to chill on Drink. He'd be fine here - not my top choice but he'd be in the top 10 of options.

My ethos for LSU football coaches has always been easy; Just Win Baby. Now, with how O flamed out and how BK grifted, that new ethos is Just Work Baby!

If LSU hires Drinkwitz, it’s because our first five choices turned us down.
It would be a generational disaster for LSU football. You can spin Drink however you want - he’s quirky, he’s been so close to beating good teams, etc, but in the end, you don’t fire Brian Kelly and tie yourself into a long legal fight over paying him his enormous buyout just to hire a coach like Drinkwitz.
And IF they do, EVERYONE needs to lose their jobs. Verge on down to the guy who cuts the grass in Tiger Stadium. They should all be strung up and hung if they hire Drinkwitz.
