Because the PT usually only shares the woke warts of the Catholic Church, here's something different.
New president of USCCB elected.

Crickets. Reminds me of a Fulton Sheene quote:
There are not over a hundred people in the United States who hate the Catholic Church. There are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church — which is, of course, quite a different thing. These millions can hardly be blamed for hating Catholics because Catholics “adore statues”; because they “put the Blessed Mother on the same level with God”; because they say “indulgence is a permission to commit sin”; because the Pope “is a Fascist”; because the “Church is the defender of Capitalism.” If the Church taught or believed any one of these things it should be hated, but the fact is that the Church does not believe nor teach any one of them. It follows then that the hatred of the millions is directed against error and not against truth. As a matter of fact, if we Catholics believed all of the untruths and lies which were said against the Church, we probably would hate the Church a thousand times more than they do.

It's good to see them do something in alignment with Scripture, by not supporting sinful practices in this regard

Absolutely nobody needs your approval.

You're a detestable character and I wish you'd shut the frick up forever. Your goal is hate and division and you should feel like a massive piece of shite. But we know you don't because of that massive ego.
Go frick yourself in every sense imaginable.

I didn't see a thread (which I could've honestly missed) about the Pope's statement on "co-redemptrix" either. The Catholic Church isn't nearly as woke as this board would have you believe. The Jesuits, however...

Their high schools are breeding grounds for homosexuals.

Nope. I thought about that one too, but I don't want to turn PT into an apologists board. That said, the RCC is most popular on the PT when something happens that fits the preconceived notions.

yeah it's pretty much a baptist/non-denom party board
Except for Foo with his tiny little Scottish Presbyterian congregation

I want to make it as clear as possible that this fricker represents none of the people who have issues with the Catholic church. I am unopposed to any opinion on the subject, with this one exception. He's a demon that should be ignored, and he should use his alters if he wants to convey a message.
I loathe very little, but dishonest intentions are damn near if not the top of the list.

It isn't random. He knows you never skip a chance to insert yourself into a RCC thread to make sure you bag on it, so he sees your "positive" post as hollow and at best a backhanded compliment.
Maybe I shouldn't be speaking on his behalf but I think I'm fairly safe on this one.

Finally a policy aimed at people instead of government.

I actually like that the RCC still condemns things like abortion and homosexuality, or the trans movement, in this case. Those are good and biblical things to do and I wish more organizations would do that.

How absolutely magnanimous of you. Don't throw out your shoulder reaching to pat yourself on the back, big dog.
