Any Arkansas posters willing to say what they're hearing about this supposed huge name hire?

I'm seeing tweets like this all over twitter. I am guessing Gruden because he works at Barstool with Brandon Walker?

Franklin is what I saw as well, I felt like Arkansas had a chance to get the best coach out of all of these programs with hiring a diamond in the rough that is one of the so called lesser names with the highest ceiling. Franklin to me isn’t that. Boring choice imo which wouldn’t excite me if I was a hog fan

It's Arkansas, I think they are probably pretty stoked to get Franklin.

He goes to Arkansas, 4-7 is going to look really nice for the next 5 years.

He could very well be trolling. I have just seen a bunch of Arkansas accounts saying similar stuff.

Franklin would actually be a good hire for them...but being "the talk of college football" for hiring him is comical

I thought Arkansas was hiring the Memphis coach? Was that fake?

If Arkansas can pull Franklin, that’s a grand slam home run considering where that program currently is.

Everyone on the board dumps on Franklin but not sure why. Until the 3 losses in a row this year he seemed to have Penn state program built up. I guess the knock is he couldn’t beat Ohio state?

Generally, he wins the games he should but not the tough ones.

But at a program like Arkansas or Virginia Tech winning the games you should is a big deal to get those programs on track. It would be a good hire.

My sources are saying Saban to Arkansas is done deal. Just the details of how much Walmart stock he wants and if he wants to be the AD after retiring. The Frank Broyles treatment if you will. Announcement imminent,
It's Saban

Okay guys I told you it's Saban yesterday. Here's the details that I'm hearing: 22 million a year plus Walmart stock and a lifetime supply of Little Debbie Oatmeal Cream Pies for both AD and head coaching positions. JB Hunt, Stephens Investment, and Tyson have committed to making Arkansas' NIL war chest the highest in the nation. Saban has the option of being Emeritus AD and hand pick his successors after stepping down. Game Over bitches, Fear the Pig.

Would be a home run for Arky at the same time being a bad one for LSU or Florida

Anyone who thinks Gruden is a good hire is living in 1999.

I can't believe that people would actually be happy with Franklin.

He's a total fraud and padded his winning % by pummeling weak teams. His teams show no pulse in big games and the sample size is huge. He's a phony and not a good coach. I don't see how any team in the SEC would be happy to have him as their coach.
