Do we really want Saban?

Sure he’s won more natties than anyone else out there. But didn’t he retire from the top program in the country because he was no longer willing to engage in the direction that college football was going?
We need someone who is embracing that challenge not running away from it.
Thoughts?

Folks change their minds all the time.

Are you kidding. With the circus we have going on he would be the perfect person to come in here and restore order.
We might not win a natty but he’ll damn sure bring the program back to relevancy before he leaves

Let me think for minute…. Yes.

nope, too old, and usually when you step back from the "battle'" you lose your edge, money would definitely not be an incentive either

At first I said I thought it would be a mistake. He left because he doesn’t want to deal with NiL and the transfer portal.
Now? LSU needs a stabilizer and he’s the best there is at that. The added massive contract it would take making the “taxpayers are footing the bill” idiots melt even more would be amusing.

I was thinking he would work a few years, bring in some top recruits, get the LSU brand back to some respectability and most important groom a replacement.

This may be the most ignorant football post in the history of posting.

He’s not coming work for the governor

You would be an absolute moron not to want the greatest coach of all time.

Thank you..I feel like I been taking crazy pills. When the goat tells you it's come time for him to hang it up you fricking listen...you don't rip the blanket off the man as he's trying to watch football through a cake his wife is holding and throw his arse back on the field

Of course we want him.
He would have Austin and his crew to handle the stuff he didn't want to deal with.

What does “coming work” mean?

The retards trying to ruin LSU would back off if Saban was here. Him winning big wouldn't be that important. Just last until Landry is out of office.

Listen to his comments about structuring the admin office for football. If he would come you’d have to do that for him so he wouldn’t be dealing with the things that made him retire.

If you even remotely question Saban being a home run hire, you’re out of your mind. The man walked away from Bama before the playoff expansion. Saban at 50% could make a 12-team playoff 99 times out of 100.
He’s absolutely heard all the “he couldn’t win in the NIL era” noise, That alone is enough to bring him back just to remind everyone why he’s the GOAT.
He’d be the perfect person to restore our program to greatness.

I wouldn’t trust anyone more than him to stop the rot.
So yes.
So yes.

Yes sir without a doubt. We need his philosophy, professionalism, discipline and attention to detail.
