New full size trucks and midsize trucks are damn near the same cost, but keeping the list with NEW full size only... what's your top 3?

Since 1990 I've had a GMC, Ford, 2 dodge, and now a Chevy.
The GMC and Chevy have been the best in reliability. Other than one of the dodges which was just a work I've put right at 200k on all of them.

For new trucks...
1. Tundra. In the minority here I know but I love the new body style and the motor is a beast (if it doesn't give out on you).
2. F150
3. Ram
All time...
1995 Chevy Silverado extended cab

This list for me is going to totally depend on which companies discontinue Android Auto. GM already announced, and I have heard Ford is going that direction. Total deal breaker for me.

Friend of mine a new Tundra and that thing seems slow, and I believe those have the turbo V6. I haven't dug into the Tundra market.
Another friend just got a RAM RebelX w/twin turbo straight six. I've never owned a Dodge but it's nice.

He doesn't have the hybrid then. That thing will run like a scolded dog, especially in sport mode. I've had the Titan v8, first eco boost, the current 5.0, and now the hybrid Tundra. Tundra is stronger and faster than any of my other trucks. Pulls great too.
I test drove the non hybrid version and probably would have went with the Chevy zr2 with the 6.2 in it if they didn't make the hybrid version. 440 horsepower with no turbo lag, it'll scoot. The non hybrid version drives very similar to the Chevy 5.3.

Why would they do this? Its not like just having apple car play and alienating all of the android user's is some big money saving move? Or i dont think it would be anyways.

It's hard to do a top 3 when there's only 4 to pick from.
1: Ram or Ford. (provided you go 5.7 in the Ram)
3: GM
4: Tundra

GMC
Chevy.... yes, I consider them differently.
Ford
Ram
Toyota
Nissan
I count more than 4.

Nissan discontinued the Titan at the end of 2024 and Chevy and GMC are built on the same line together and are by all functional means the exact same truck with a different grille and trim packages. I left the Titan out because you said new.

I’ve used Fords, Rams, Chevys and Toyotas.
For you drive them all, pick a used one with 50-60,000 miles. See the one that’s held up better. Make your choice.
In the BTR area, I have friends that own Toyota and Ford. I have relatives that own GMC. Let me know if you need anything.

All the new 1/2 tons suck for reliability. Only one I would get is the F150 with a 5.0.
GM is bringing out all new motors in 26 and has gotten rid of the AFM.
I am seriously considering a F250 with one of the gas motors. Most reliable motors on the market from a design standpoint.
