The state, which we already knew, looks as good incompetent as it gets.
And with this crap so public we will end up with some up and coming coach that wants a shot.
Maybe it works out in a few years, but for the next couple years we will have stain on our program and players will shy away
I hope im wrong

Everyday they show more and more that they did all of this with absolutely no plan in place. I have no confidence in LSU’s administration getting it right going forward.

Best bet is we get Kelvin or some other young players coach cheap and spend our money on NIL.

It's definitely a shitshow. You would hope this would all die down over the next couple weeks while you search for a coach, but stuff just keeps popping up. LSU needs to stay away from the "for cause" termination. It looks like a witch hunt.

That said, if we start winning, some of this dies down. Losing while this is going on, just magnifies it.

Not really. He’s being bought out. The next iteration of LSU football depends on the hire and money put behind NIL and recruiting

Why would any player come to LSU now if they have a history of not paying?

This is not LSU taking BK to court for discovery etc. or LSU saying they can’t pay the money.

It’s legal posturing to reach a settlement. BKs already alluded to settling

This lawsuit and allegation we are looking to fire Kelly for cause is the cherry on top

Publicly accusing agents and your AD of collusion was the two-scoops of vanilla base to get this party started

Firing the AD was the sprinkle of nuts

New President gaffe w/ Verge on again off again on again was the hot fudge

Nothing that doesn’t go on with any program in any other state. NIL supports all,the money. The only difference is it doesn’t get in the public eye and does not find it way in the political arena.

Rousse should have said no way on Verge after the story came out on him by Piper Hutchinson.

This will never get to Discovery.
Both sides will come to an agreement shrouded in non-disclosure perpetuity. Kelly runs off to an Analyst gig, LSU moves on with a bloody nose and not hemorrhaging cash

No chance....Kelly receives every penny that he is owed. LSU has no leverage here.

It depends on what (or whom) he did, and how much he wants to keep it hidden. I have no idea what they’re using, be it something personal or Greg Brooks or that he was golfing instead of game planning.

And now we know why LSU football kept stepping on its dick. The entire process is broken

Yep…woke up for morning coffee and then see this mess on my phone
This is making me doubt everything that’s happening behind the scenes, we just look disgustingly incompetent.

Hopefully we can still get the right coach for LSU football after the dust settles.
