Youtube tv is giving out $20 credits to current users. If you’re awaiting that email for your credit, you can just click the link below and claim it on your profile.

I'm on YouTube TV's side of this. Screw Disney.

... at the same time, you shouldn't have to "claim" this credit, it should just be granted. A lot of people are going to miss out on this.

I cancelled YTTV. B/t this and jacking the prices, I'm done. It should be no surprise that I can't get the $20 credit. It should be a refund. More reason they can get fricked.

So greedy that they won't just credit everyone paying for the channels. Instead, banking on people not seeing that they need to click this button to get the credit. fricking garbage.

Edit: And on top of that, $20 is no where close to enough. I'm missing 80% of what I watch on TV currently.

I get why people would be upset with YouTube TV because it's their service, but this really isn't on them. It's on Disney.

YTTV is trying to LOWER their prices. They are trying to get the ESPN package at the same rate DirectTV gets it, which would lower your price as well. Disney is being greedy and saying "no". Also, YTTV asked Disney "can we just turn it back on for the viewers until we settle this dispute?". Disney, again, said "no".

frick Disney.

it's actually more Disney's fault than YTTV. Disney is probably asking for ridiculous carriage fees and YT is saying no.

One day, when we go to true a la carte TV, carriage fees will go away.

In this instance, yes. But YTTV is up something like 60% since I signed up for it. I don't like their interface. I only had it b/c it was cheap to begin with.

I'm sticking with YTTV bc they have the NFL package. I caved this weekend and added Disney for $30/mo, so I can still get all of the ESPNs. Made more sense than watching games at a sports bar and running up a $100 tab. Plan on cancelling once they work this BS out.
