What's worse? Yellow real teeth, or obvious fake white "teeth"?

I don't give big arse toothy smiles, so I don't care if mine might be a little yellow.

Yes. I don’t get it. Especially people that spend upwards of $50,000 of full mouth dental implants who choose halogen white for their color. I mean, you pretty much have the option to choose whatever color you want. At least try and make them look real.

IMO it's not that if the teeth are real or fake but if they are TOO yellow or TOO white

That’s kind of like asking if men prefer ultra saggy real pancake titties or ultra perky fake ones.

Put me down for the fake ones in both cases.

OK Yuck Mouth

I knocked one of my front ones out a few years ago ((drunk + a come along winch) so when I got an implant I had to choose a color.

Went white then use use white strips to bleach the others to match.

it's 2025 get your damned teeth fixed

Teeth are not meant to be bright, bleached white. That's not how the human body is designed. And lord, beneath the gumline, it's even darker. HORROR.

If you have super, super white teeth, I just assume you're wearing dentures.

Yellow teeth is nasty.

I remember the first time I saw this first hand. There was this girl my brother was in school with. She was one of the hotter girls I guess, when he was in HS. She came to the house a few times when she was in HS so when I saw her in a bar I guess 15 or so years later, she was still hot. I went talk to her, tell her I was my brother's younger brother.. The kids she used to play light bright with. When I told her who I was she smiled a big smile... And her teeth was yellowish. And right away she became much less attractive. I will never for get that

It was almost as if someone took a yellow highlighter that was running out of highlight liquid and highlighted each tooth. They were just enough yellow to be "more yellow than they should", but with small spots of white and she had the smoke voice as well.. But yellow teeth is just nasty.. As least with fake white teeth that person cares about what their teeth looks like.

Mine are off white and I use whitening strips twice a year. That works just enough to lighten them up a bit. I notice it but I don’t think others notice my slightly brighter teefees.

We in the dental field call it Toilet Bowl White - natural shades are definitely the way to go, but unfortunately, you have to take into account the patient's desires and some people want those white chiclets.
