So, and be serious please….how does it work if SEC office and officials have rigged a game

I’ve seen same games and calls yoi have. The Patrick Peterson interception/non interception still blows my mind. How does that shite happen and no one is ever prosecuted?

The SEC Office justifies their "fixes" by the dollars it brings in. No way they're going to sacrifice an undefeated bama team for another SEC team.

Unless you can catch the money changing hands then you have nothing. Bad calls happen all the time, Angel Hernandez made a career of it.

Well, it's not a crime unless somebody is throwing the game on a wager or bet....
One thing is for sure, this happens way too often with Alabama for it to be a coincidence.
In fact, it was so obvious the other night that a good friend who is an Ole Miss grad sent a group message in the middle of the game to me and all our Bama friends saying "WTF"? It's not just us who see it...

SEC office protects SEC teams in contention for post season runs

Peterson was out of bounds, let it go.

Here is my hypothesis on this stuff. I don’t think most of the games are officially “fixed” and I don’t think anyone is paying off anyone or getting an official message from the league office.
I think they listen to their bosses talk up/down certain teams and get influenced without knowing it. Then they are in these stadiums where everyone wants a certain outcome. They subconsciously start giving all the breaks to one team without fully even realizing it

it's a game for college kids headed by a billion dollar organization. You won't prove/prosecute game rigging unless there's a whistle blower and the FBI is involved. Even then, everyone would likely try to sweep it under the rug and reprimand the guilty behind closed doors.

Probably because threats are involved if you rock the boat too much.

Have thought the same.

While you’re going to get mixed takes.. The NBA is under some pretty serious heat for trying to suppress the current gambling scandal that happened. When money and people are involved, nothing is safe.

The crews are the biggest cult of fraternal cliques you have ever seen. The white hats are all ego maniacs and the officials on his crew are all Yes men. Many of them truly believe and feel that they are down there and are part of the teams. It is the biggest god complex you can imagine. The mechanics get worse every year and they are all afraid of replay making them looking like fools.

I want to say I heard from Hester this morning that LSU had 7 positive plays get reviewed, while Bama had zero. I may be messing that stat up a bit.
I said to myself all last week that I needed to come into the game with the awareness that Bama will be given at least a few more opportunities to win the game than LSU. SEC needs their playoff teams to stay untouched, so it's no surprise that the LSU offense went into review on 3 consecutive 1st down conversions, with 2 of them being overturned, while we were in a 1 score game in the 4th quarter. The fact that they went into a review for the slide was atrocious.
Haven't seen it posted, but how the frick did they not call the punt late in the 4th a touchback? They let the ref with a much worse angle of where the ball was make the final decision, while the ref with an angle to see the football was signaling for a touchback.
LSU would not have won the game anyway, but the final score here would have been by 1 score if they didn't frick LSU up and down the field with the SEC's officiating power to rig a game.

Can't wait for the SEC to be peer pressured to have in-game reviews with a live mic.
Would love to hear what they said on the MVB overturn the call on the field and decide to pin it down to half a yard short.
*To have indisputable evidence that MVB started to slide half a yard short.
eta2: I don't typically mind when refs keep the flag in their pocket for live ball fouls as long as they call it both ways. Because while there was a major penalty count disparity, it's worth noting that most of LSU's were procedural penalties (Curne false starting).
