Many people widely regard Brady as one of the top playcallers in the NFL. Last year, he had the opportunity to land a head coaching position, particularly with the New Orleans Saints expressing interest. However, he chose not to take on that role.
Now Brady might have a chance to take a head coaching job in the state of Louisiana, but not in the NFL.

Brady has said repeatedly he doesn't like to recruit, and really has no use for college football

Yeah, I'm not sure why this guy keeps being brought up. He has said time and time again he doesn't like college ball kissing HS player's asses.

I have said that too about recruiting but as HC he could lean heavily on somebody like Frank Wilson. I also believe he would retain the defensive staff.
Brady's only motive to me though would be to jump headlong into the HC role and eventually move back to the NFL as a HC.

Brady was at LSU for like 6 months and spent literally every other second in the NFL.
Time to stop with the Brady speculation unless some really good sources roll in.

I don't doubt this, and know it's commonly brought up when Brady's name comes up, but does anyone have an article or interview they can reference where he says this? Just curious if we have an example anywhere straight from the horse's mouth.

You realize he isn’t leaving Buffalo until the season is over which could be February. LSU isn’t waiting until then to fill the position.

College ball is now pro ball.

I dont believe he is a candidate at all. I just posted current articles for the rantards to chew on. Hope it tastes good...

Well he has josh Allen as a QB and his offense put up 13 points against Miami dolphins. He may be looking for a job soon.

Here you go:
NY Times article on Joe Brady from 2020
excerpt from article:
"Brady had just returned from a long recruiting trip along the East Coast, one that involved a scheduling mixup and Brady traveling to see a player who wasn’t even practicing.
Brady seemed tired. He was still adjusting to the nonstop life of a college coach, still coming to terms with how coaching somewhere like LSU meant recruiting never ends. He was asked if he could breathe a little bit after the road trip.
“I’m learning it never stops,” he said with a smile. “I’m just looking forward to having a few days in a row in the same place.”
Start right here when looking back on why Joe Brady is leaving LSU and the college game to join Matt Rhule and the Carolina Panthers as offensive coordinator. No, it’s not that simple. It’s not just about recruiting. It’s not just about cashing in when his stock is sky-high. But it’s never been a secret around LSU that Brady didn’t love the never-ending recruiting life that comes with the college game. Now, Brady can coach at his dream-level job and get paid handsomely while being able to focus on what he loves: ball."

What’ in there gives legs to Brady coming here ?

There is a very real chance McDermott and the bills fire Brady after this year. LSU fans are infatuated by the wrong guy here

Give it up please. LSU is more likely to convince Nick Saban out of retirement than to lure Joe Brady back to college coaching anywhere.

Completely different era of CFB since last time he was here. Austin Thomas, Frank Wilson, and position coaches do the vast majority if not all of it. Evidence is that we’ve had one decommit since BK was canned
