MVB wasn’t perfect but he clearly showed why he should’ve got a look sooner

With how best up nuss was earlier in the year that’s a perfect window to throw MVB out there with his mobility and willingness to push the ball downfield.

Brian Kelly threw away the season throwing nuss out there vs ole Miss that was the prime game where I truly feel we win starting MVB.

Nuss cannot function behind this O line.....time to give MVB the reigns.

You can clearly tell the team gave a little more effort because it wasn't the same ol BS that Nuss kept on doing. It was a tad late but this team had every reason to quit like they did against A&M and they finished without getting blown out

Doesn’t matter which one you put back there right now. We continue with this idea of having balance when we have no TE or H-Back who can block. So until we go full spread, pass heavy, take chances downfield and accept the risks this offense will continue to sputter. Whether it’s Nuss pushing it or MVB with some QB run mix.

In hindsight, it was a bad call to not have MVB named the starter before the bye week. I don't know how it plays out, but I like his chances to get us 21 pts with two weeks of reps and a gameplan utilizing his ability to run. And at this point, there seems to be is little to no difference in the ability to run the passing game of this offense.

Idk about this. Thomas had a great catch, but Green and Parker missed perfect passes to them and we dropped some others that weren't accurate, but catchable. And the OL was still the OL.

I did feel more hopeful with MVB in there due to him moving the pocket and using his legs though.

Nuss couldn’t even pull the trigger when we had wide open WR’s and he had time to throw.

He needs to stay on the bench.

Don’t disagree & been wanting to see him play, but MVB, a backup, not a draft prospect at the moment, getting your shot in prime time vs Bama with the opportunity to win the game, job, team, fans, etc. and you’re out there sliding and running out of bounds 3 yds before contact. Not a good look.

Yeah he wasn’t great but he looked like an actual QB out there. Nuss looks so lost and scared

He needs to start the rest of the season

I don’t think this was the case. It was obvious that Bama changed up their game plan and pressure packages because of MVB’s legs. What would move Nuss off his spot and force mistakes could send MVB on 30 yard scamper. Bama pulled back so they wouldn’t get burned by another running QB.

Yes, I would have loved to see WR/TEs drop great passes from MVB. Oh well.
