Do they still “submit a tape to the SEC for officiating”

You used to hear about that when there was some bad calls. I’d like to get an explanation on the late hit out of bounds, the disconcerting signals, and the punt.
On the disconcerting signals if I remember correctly only one of their d lineman shifted as well which is a point of emphasis.
We still probably lose but it’s always a butterfly effect.
I believe the next play after the late hit was the sharp fumble.
With the disconcerting signals that’s a first and we keep the ball.
With the punt our playcalling changes substantially.

Why bother?
Nothing will be done - SEC don’t give a shite

Maybe we get them permanently suspended like Auburn did

The only blatant miss was the personal foul. I do truly believe the football passed the plane of the endzone, but with the limited replays they showed, you would not have overtruned it anyway.

Well that’s why we should get an explanation.
If a linebacker can clap, yell and have a singular lineman shift then we should do that on every fourth and short

Bama covered the spread.

Matt Austin " Bama definitely looked like they imitated the snap, but I like LSU being called here." Lmaoooo

Why bother...it's in the SEC by-laws that Alabama can't miss the CFP two years in a row - it could have cost these officials their jobs!
My favorite was in the late 3d, early 4th when we were driving & they threw a flag after the ball was snapped. You could see them counting red jersey's. Then one guy jogs off the field & after a quick conference, they called a procedure on LSU.
Anybody surprised?

“They shouldn’t be looking at the LB anyways”
Well no crap.
They HEARD the clap and yell and then were watching the d lineman abruptly shift directly in front of them

True but the amount of play stoppage for replays on LSU vs the obvious example for Bama on the joint reception was noted. The bias is real and has been for years.
SEC needs a sky cap ref to catch the obvious personal foul miss and to open the mike like the ACC on replays.

In this league, when you play Bama you have to beat Bama and the refs. It’s been like this as long as I’ve been watching. You want fair? Find another conference. It just is what it is. The team isn’t good enough. Bottom line.

On the Bama punt, where was the other camera? When reviewing a play in question, there are multiples, especially at the goal line.
On the toss out of bounds, it was not only well out of bounds but was slammed by the neck. For announcers to cringe at the no call, was very telling.

We are 2-13 in the last 15 against Bama and the refs costed us every one

That will never happen because that guy would have a very hard time living his normal life. SEC doesn’t want to be transparent, they have to protect the top 3-4 teams to get in playoff. The money is too great to let a team like LSU potentially take down a playoff contender.

It 100% changes the game when 5 calls are called, not called. As you pointed out really well, these all drastically changed the entire result of the game. They also missed tackling Perkins on a screen on a td drive.

I enjoyed telling the Bama fans around me when they would show a replay on screen or not. They never do when there is anything potentially amiss about a play or a call.

Oh they give a shite. Bama first then higher ranked team gets the calls or no calls.

It’s amazing. The officiating is only bad if your team is dead arse.
