Who's hired first?

Which of the P4 programs is the first to fill their vacancy, and which one of the fired coaches gets hired first?
My guess is PSU makes the first move and snags a coach from a non-playoff SEC school and their former head man James Franklin gets hired soon after.

Depends on who you’re after. Franklin is available now. More will be after the season ends and some after the playoffs. Unless you’re hiring Franklin nothing will happen until the season ends.

I don’t know who will be first but have a bad feeling that when all is said and done, LSU will be last choosing from the pool of candidates no one else wanted.

It'll depend on who they plan on hiring. I'd say Arkansas is most likely as well. Maybe Auburn is a dark horse.
The other question is, who will be last?

Agree. LSU gives that feeling that they go "all in" for 1 candidate and when they don't get that candidate, it's an OH shite moment and they panic hire and then say "We got our man!"

As in "all in for Lincoln Riley" and then pivot to "it was Brian Kelly all along"?
I think that is a pretty accurate take on the LSU situation.

The Riley rumors began on message boards such as this one and then was picked up by the media. All sides denied ever discussing the LSU job.
Keep in mind Riley, Kelly, and Woodward all have the same agent.
