Get rid of SNAP completely and replace it with government issued MREs. You would be amazed at how fast these people are rushing back to work

We need to look at those in the government and private sector other than recipients of the SNAP benefits. Corruption is in the air.

Trump is correct. SNAP isn't for people who don't want to work. 70% of people on SNAP work full time.

Honestly, prices for food, rent, insurance and utilities have far outpaced wages. The country, as a whole needs to jack up wages across the board, but that would further exacerbate the problem. But this is a bandaid that needs to be ripped off and the real problem treated. If people are only working fast food jobs or menial retail jobs and not a trade, it's time for a national jobs training program as a requirement to receive benefits, but the key problem is the massive amount of graft and corruption that would follow. I honestly don't know how to fix it other than collapse of the government, civil war and breakup into smaller countries that can put the brakes on the runaway socialism of supporting a huge non-working, non-motivated populace that exists on government handouts.

1. There will be no rapture. He’ll return “like a thief in the night.”

2. Why do you think Jesus would disapprove of this?

I personally believe those abusing the welfare system are like the servant that took his master’s talents and buried them.

I heard the stat that 1 out of 10 people in the US receive SNAP. That is absolutely ridiculous. My guess is that the number should be closer to 1 in 30.

It's is so obvious that the program was intentionally corrupted.

Except that's not what that says. You don't read very well do you?

That says
quote:

70 percent of adult wage earners in both programs
Both programs includes Medicaid. Furthermore, that doesn't say that 70% of the recipients work full time, it says they
quote:

worked full-time hours (i.e., 35 hours or more) on a weekly basis.
It says only half (again, who are in both programs) worked full time on a yearly basis, which is actually full time work, kind of. They're saying that someone who worked housekeeping for 3 weeks a year working less than 40 hours a week is part of the 70%. If you worked 35 hours for 1 week, the "government accountability" office lumped you in as a net contributor to society. For the 50% who are working all year, it is well known that they are willingly being low-income earners to keep taxpayer benefits. It's common knowledge that SNAP recipients use their points as part of their income selling them for pennies on the dollar so they can get their nails done and finance a car. Many of them are also able to use their card directly like a debit card.

We're talking McDonalds workers making the bare minimum to keep their taxpayer handouts. Not exactly the gotcha you thought it was. And how laughable for you to quote a study by the government accountability office. If there ever was an oxymoron, that's it.

At the end of the day, the bare minimum you should shoot for in life as a working age adult is to be a net contributor. If you go your entire life taking and no time helping, you're not a net contributor. That's the least you can do for your country and your dignity. A 24 year old single mother of 3 with 3 different baby daddies who works 18 hours a week to get a fat tax return, "free" healthcare and "free" food that she trades for new nails and eyelashes, and who does that for the rest of her life is not an asset to her fellow man, and she is not America first. She couldn't care less about her fellow citizens. She's asking what her country can do for her.

I've no problem helping out a single American citizen mother who made poor decisions and got pregnant. That's Americans first. I do have a problem subsidizing her for the rest of her life while she continues to do the bare minimum to get her handouts, and then trains the generations behind her to continue to game the system. I do have a problem with 30 year old, able bodied people, especially males, receiving Medicaid and food stamps for the rest of their natural born lives so they can buy 2 ounces of weed at the beginning of every month in their taxpayer provided housing while they tell those same providers they are at fault for their woes in life. Enablers like you are at fault for their plight just as much as they are. You should be ashamed for that.

Under no circumstances do I condone the support of foreign nationals who will not assimilate and who overwhelmingly take from taxpayers getting taxpayer subsidies. Under no circumstances shall one single illegal alien have any Medicaid, SNAP, or any other taxpayer funded subsidy, and yet almost 60% of the two groups listed above, do. They get deportation, and that's it. Americans first, Americans only.

I'm one of the 50% who has to pay taxes. If you want to do the same and support them, then put down the virtue signal, stop talking about it, and be about it: give your money to them. You, nor they, are entitled to enslave me and my family and take even more by law and under the threat of imprisonment. The majority of our costs go to socialist welfare programs that don't work and that are corrupt and failed. You want more of it. You want to double down it because you think it'll eventually work. You think that because you don't think at all, and you likely contribute very little.

No, I read perfectly well, which is why what I wrote is accurate. 70% of adult SNAP recipients work full time. Your text wall does not change that fact.

Pretty sure it is clear in the bible "those that refuse to work shall not eat". Those that "can't" work are only about 10% of adults receiving assistance.

I've said for years if you wanted the recidivism rate to drop for prison, turn them into military style boot camps.

Remove all tobacco products. Remove all personal electronic devices. Remove television. Get them up early for PT, feed them, make them work physical labor, and teach them vocational trades that can be used outside.

Most convicts don't fear prison because they live better there than they do outside.

That's not what it says. You can't even read past the falsified headline, so of course it works on retards who are dumbfounded by adults typing like adults, let alone looking at data and the criteria.

That is not what the data says. That's what the headline says. Working 20 hours for 2 weeks out of 52 weeks includes you in that 70%, and they also include Medicaid in that 70% too. That's not working full time. That's not snap only. That's working enough to buy your weed and still have enough snap points to sell for pennies on the dollar for new nails and shite food for your 4 illegitimate kids and/or doing it to get free healthcare.

Hardly full time. Hardly net contributors. Hardly a "gotcha." Nice little NPC talking point and virtue signal, though. I'm sure it worked well on reddit/politics.

Nowhere in the Bible does it say you have to support taxes going to feed those who don’t work

Jesus calls for acts of individual charity. Saying you support govt welfare in order to feel like you’re doing charitable good in the name of Christ is just lazy and selfish
