What’s with part of the fanbase inevitably wanting to hire the Interim full time?

Ed 0 had an abysmal HC record before LSU. I was at the Florida game and was absolutely confident after the loss that he had no shot.

The “Facebook” crowd of boomers were pumping him to get the job full time. You see many of them already doing the same with Frank.

Frank has no business being our head coach based on his coaching record

And yet Ed O fielded the best team in college football history.

Where do you people come from.... only choosing to see what you want to see

If he wins three out of four, I would approve.
If he hold Bama close, with this beat up team, it would be extremely positive, IMO.

"He's one of us"
"He knows Nola well"
"LSU has never had a black head coach"

I mean, you can already see the social media posts from a mile away. I made this thread last week and got downvoted to oblivion for some reason

LSU will play bama tough, and win the other games, and the Wilson campaign will start. And then LSU will be branded as a racist school if we don't hire Wilson. It's so obvious

It’s people like this already accepting mediocrity. I’ll have to root against LSU to save people from their own stupidity

It'll never not crack me up that rantads think we'll just fall arse backwards into another Burrow/Chase/Jefferson if we do this same song and dance with a Louisiana-guy interim

Might as well hire him back, right? I hear he's available.

Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn once in a while. Ed Orgeron is one of the least talented coaches in SEC history. He owns the worst winning percentage in Ole Miss football history. That’s truly impressive in a bad way.

Are you saying we should throw all logic and wisdom out the window and hire a totally unqualified candidate because he’s “one of us” and just hope that it works out??

Wonderful idea!!

They never have logical reasons why.

You are choosing to only see one year and not the subsequent two where he made us the laughing stock of the SEC and celebrated being paid to leave. You are no different

It’s the people that tend to make emotional decisions and not rational decisions.

I mean he was the architect, but he could never do it again in 100 seasons. He’s the luckiest coach in America to have struck the right combination of players and coaches to have that 2019 season.

He was the worst coach in Ole Miss history and that Ole Miss version of him reared its ugly head in 2020 and 2021. 2020 and 2021 are what Ed Orgeron actually is.

He was at UTSA. Their football program started in 2011. Saban was .500 his first 4 years at Michigan st and was 0-3 in bowl games. I don't think we know anything yet.

It’s obvious now that team was fielded in spite of Orgeron, not because of him.

Anybody who can’t see that in hindsight is a dumbass.

The retards forget that the only years O looked competent at LSU were the two Burrow years. We got skull fricked by Mississippi State and lost to Troy in 2017.
