THIS is a big part of our current problem caused by the stupid policies (immigration and anchor babies) and evil leftist in this country...
Newsweek via MSN
A Salvadoran woman who reportedly received a work permit last year was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after federal agents arrested her at a Utah airport.
Marta Brizeyda Renderos Leiva, 39, was detained by federal immigration agents at Salt Lake City International Airport on October 29 during a “targeted enforcement operation,” based on a prior removal order, ICE said.
“She was given a final order of removal in absentia February 19, 2020,” a spokesperson for ICE told Newsweek.
“She is a woman who had no idea there was a removal order against her,” Armstrong said.
According to the lawyer, the notice was sent to the address of a notary who helped with earlier immigration paperwork. The attorney has filed a motion to reopen the case and asked a judge to restore Leiva’s opportunity for a hearing.
Leiva is a single mother of four U.S.-citizen children, according to a GoFundMe set up by her family.

She needed a "notice" to know she was here illegally? Her and her anchor babies can go back home.

bullshite. I guarantee she knew.

Right, and the fact that this shite is fricking legal shows how captured we are.
Every single one of the fricking kids should be illegal in this country and deported along with her immedistely

"I didn't know I was in a bank" said the robber.

She didn't know she was here illegally?
The point here is that it's largely irrelevant as to whether she received a final order or not as she knew she wasn't supposed to be here in the first place anyway.

Sounds like the lawyer failed. Probably needs to lose their law license.

So we need a flight for her and her four anchor babies. Got it.

Im sick of this argument, it’s obviously being used against us as other parts of the constitution HAVE NOT BEEN UPHELD.

Is there some confusion about the paperwork? How could she have a work permit authorizing her to be here and a removal order against her?

How did she receive a work permit last year if she had a removal order from 2020?

Freakin' AMENDMENT to the constitution, specifically created to give citizenship to former slaves.
Never intended to be used for allowing anchor babies. Yeah, yeah, Wong Kim Ark, yada yada, that court ruling can be (and should be) changed, just like Roe vs. Wade was.

Sounds like a 5-for-1 deal to me. Her and her anchors can all hit the bricks.

Which by definition is part of the constitution

What do you think would happen if this happened to me or you? You get pulled over for simply speeding, no big deal. The cop runs your name and there is a warrant for your arrest. You tell him you had no idea. What happens next?

I'm in agreement with you. Sounds like Fedgov screwed the pooch here.
