They had 50% and now, because they tried to push for 100% no one will get anything

Well... if Democrats are caving post election, I guess it doesn't really matter.

Wonder what made him put this out there.

I mean... can you blame the guy?

Was reportedly set to send out WIC benefits.... and the dems were like.. NO... THAT'S NOT ENOUGH.

Ok.. fine... here's nothing at all. See how you like it.

They were asking a judge to push for 100% funding this morning after Trump agreed to send out 50% yesterday

Because the court is not an elected office and therefore doesn’t the power to make such a demand. Court is simply pissing into the wind and calling it rain.

Unfortunately I think it's going be necessary for Trump to defy some of these decisions and court orders. Going to have to push to establish clear demarcation of responsibilities.

You are exactly right!! Force SCOTUS to make such decisions. Neuter these Fed judges approved by Congress to neuter a POTUS.

There is no SNAP program. There was a SNAP program in fiscal year 2025 because Congress acted and appropriated funds for the program. But we are in fiscal year 2026 and the Dems won't allow for funding of the program. Thus, no appropriation. No program.

He should have sent out the half benefits and the mercilessly taunted the Democrats about it. Now after saying he would go half and then 2 days later withdraw it......not the best political maneuvering.

Now he's seen as just as much a villain as Schumer or Jeffries.....maybe more.

This won't play out well in the mid terms

In negotiating, it's called a Withdrawn Offer.

With voters' very short memories and if Latisha can, at some point, get her grape Fanta again, I'm not worried.
