Putnam County, MO
43° with south wind
TX5 saddle
Hoyt Torrex XT

Sitting in the corner of 3 converging fingers surrounded by cut corn. We have seen lots of deer, but nothing we want to shoot yet.

I can hear a few gobblers ripping over the hill.

4 more days to get it done.

I started packing last night for Saturday. My spot is less than an hour from my driveway, so there isn't really anything to pack, I'm just ready. Don't care if it storms, I like it when I'm the only one out there. Except lightning... Will wait that out in the car if needed.

Didn’t hunt this morning. Helped my partner look for the big deer he shot yesterday morning. No luck with the dog or drone. Went in this morning and I found him in a creek with just a little water on the neighboring property.

Good luck! My wife and I hunted yesterday afternoon and saw several deer. 10 point came within 30 yards but I had no shot. Another buck was staring at me from the backside of the pond as I walked to my truck this morning.

Seeing bucks on the move everywhere in our area.

Good job staying with the track, Ken. I killed a good ten in Kansas a good while back shooting down between his shoulders. No blood trail. Seeing that buck laying in the creek will stay in my minds eye forever.
