More Seattle Absurdity

Story below, but here are the high points:
Unlicensed street vendors have taken over the areas surrounding T-Mobile Park (Mariners) and Lumen Field (Seahawks).
Licensed street vendors are mad.
However, local government can't punish the unlicensed vendors because the unlicensed vendors don't have business names or addresses. Shocking!
The story linked below further outlines the absolute absurdity of this entire situation and the continued fall of western civilization.
Unlicensed vendors don't use names or addresses, so they can't be punished.

If only they had access to some sort municipal agency which could enforce laws by policing such situations with penalties, fines and maybe even jail time for continued violations...

Absurd is definitely the right word.

I personally have never been to Seattle and have less than zero interest to visit there but are there any redeeming qualities with that city?
Seems like prolific drug use and squatters is all you hear about.

BS excuse.
Walk up, demand to see their license. No docvuments?
Arrest them and seize the cart.
Simple
Bleeding heart pussy liberal government.

Seattle is one of the most beautiful cities in one of the most beautiful areas of the country but the people are downright rude(Google the Seattle Freeze) & homeless people everywhere. Open drug use & the police won't do anything. It is a leftist utopia.

Used to love going to Seattle and Portland. Two beautiful cities, that are now full on Marxist enclaves that have inherited a lot of the CA homeless overflow.
No interest in going back.

That is absurd and a cop out. You have the police go and make them produce an ID, and give them a warning. If they do it again, you take further action.
That's like saying if you see someone being murdered, you can't do anything about the perp because you don't know who he is or where he lives. Sounds like a paradise for criminals,

Obviously anything said about Seattle is pointless lefties will just take that as a badge of honor.
So to get the day started on a positive....OP....thanks for putting some effort into starting your thread. We really need thread starting rules, and yours is a good example. Quick cliff notes, laid out with breaks, not just lazy posting of a link or YouTube vid.
Well done

I am stunned at your whiteness and white supremacy.
Forcing people to get licenses and insurance and pay taxes just is meant to prohibit POC from living their best life.
While also full on supporting the patriarchy. And worse yet you are supporting the white patriarchy.
And let's face it, I'm going to call you transphobic. You are saying this conversation had nothing to do with Trans people. How does this make you transphobic? You see, you excluded them from the conversation. You don't even believe in their existence.
Not to mention that you l since you are a white supremacist, misogynistic supporter of the patriarchy, it's safe to assume you are a transphobe...

If you eat something from one of these, and get sick, you deserve every thing you get.
I was out in the Maringy, one night, there was some dude outside Snug Harbor, on the street, with a gas stove on a cart cooking something with eggs and selling them to people. Something totally unlicensed, first thing I thought is , no way I'd eat that shite.

seems like the least of Seattle's problems.
Hell, Mt. Rainier could pop off shortly.

I have been to the area half a dozen times, but have yet to go to downtown Seattle. There is simply no reason to subject yourself to the onslaught of human debris.
It's the same reason that I rarely go to downtown Asheville, even though I live just a few miles from there.

Remember this the next time someone tells you police shouldn't chase criminals because it "endangers the public." The opposite is true.

I went there on business in the mid ‘90s. Wasn’t so bad back then. Best memory? Best salmon I ever had.
