He’s an idiot. It’s Ole Miss for God’s sake… with LSU and Florida open. Surely he is smarter than that

Why? Less pressure. Not as dysfunctional.

Meh…he’s winning there and has that fan base eating out of the palm of his hand. It’s not a bad set up.

Taking the huge pay day from UF or LSU will come with huge expectations.

Or he is smarter than many others in terms of happiness and stress Ole Miss will get him close to any offer without the expectations of immediate success those other jobs have..

As hard as it is to believe some people don’t care about winning championships of any kind. They’d rather troll people online and count their millions.

either he wins it all or eventually gets canned

the idea that any fanbase is fine with jsut being good but never winning it all only last so long

eventually you become a victim of your own success

At some point a top coach like that will stay put where he will make similar money and be loved by the fan base just for getting to playoff or close to it on regular basis. Less stress and u can get a statue even without winning it all. Don’t have to worry about getting fired after 4 years going elsewhere

See, he doesn’t think like you. He doesn’t want to just coast through life and take the path of least resistance. He actually aspires to greatness. He will leave Ole Miss. It’s just a matter of when and where.

He could stay employed there forever, being paid amongst the top 10 coaches, just by having a winning record. Cushy.

This. Ole Miss isn't going to let him shake them down every year for raises for 9 and 10 wins. I've been on record here saying I think LK is Fool's Gold. I still believe that.

Just because the gov got his 5 minutes in the spot light. All the big money told him not another peep and so it will be. Stop panicking and finding the one thing you can shite on your own school for. Jesus Christ. Omg the sky is falling the sky is falling.

He will stay because all is well for now. He will get bored and stagnant there.

Oxford, MS, is a much nicer place to live than is Baton Rouge.

To each their own. I find it rather boring.
