I'm at a point where we will find out what we have in Shough good or bad over the next few weeks. It appears that Rattler will be at best a decent backup at the NFL level. We will need to bring in a veteran QB next year to pair with Shough, Rattler or anyone else they acquire in the draft. Who else is out there that would be worth bringing in to compete?

I know Carson Wentz will be available but who else could we target that may have some upside??

Shough or Top 3 pick. We are in a rebuild. WTF would a Mac Jones type accomplish?

It's rinse and repeat here for a very long time. People can't seem to understand having different QBs is not going to give a different result. It literally does not matter who is back there with the way the rest of the team is.

Exactly why I said over and over Shough was a waste of a pick. No young qb will have success surrounded by garbage on both sides the ball.

Have to build up at least one side of the ball first.

No QB at all actually. We don't need a QB. We need an entire team.

Why would you want a vet QB? Just embrace the rebuild. They need to add a lot to the roster

I don't like the lack of a veteran qb on the roster. Think about it. A vet qb or Jake Haener. Makes no sence to me given that choice then or now

Veteran QB presence could help the young guys.
Would have been nice to have this year.

Daniel Jones (probably will be extended), Zach Wilson, Pickett, Trubisky, Minshew would qualify as younger vets to bring in and push Shough/Rattler for the starting position.

Flacco, Josh Johnson, Tyrod, Grapp, Bridgewater, Mariota, Wentz are probably that group of older vets to come in as player mentors
