Rick Neuheisel just said he has it on good authority that LSU has offered Saban 4-years for $100M. I hadn’t heard that.

Saban is the GOAT but is he chomping at the bit to get back in college coaching when the reasons he left (portal/ NIL) are progressively getting worse?

He hated NIL but I think he understands how to do it now (basically just spend a lot of money)

right. i am saying same thing. gumps would have a jonestown 2 if this happens and they would tear down his saban statue as if it were saddam hussein! they will also rename saban field to stallings field or some shite.

You know, I think it’s possible Saban dislikes Kelly enough on a personal level to consider taking the job.

You're thinking of how LSU fans acted when he came to Tuscaloosa. As a Bama fan, I would think it's kinda funny & really weird. Honestly, it would be sad if he didn't win there. Kinda like Jordan with the Washington Wizards or Montana with the Chiefs. Strange to say, but I would be rooting for him so he doesn't tarnish his legacy by trying to rekindle some kind of magic he had over 20 years ago.

Saban may be the only one left standing when this is all over. Every time the LSU job becomes available it almost guarantees the top candidates are getting healthy contract extensions

I think it’s insinuated when considering the big picture. Saban smashed Kelly a few times in the playoffs, Kelly leaves me for LSU to ‘win titles and beat Saban’ kind of implies he can do what Saban did if he just had the same chances.
