The good news about Alabama

Bama doesn't have a dangerous dual-threat QB of the caliber that gives LSU fits. Simpson is nowhere near Reed, Pavia, and Chambliss (losses); his numbers are more comparable to Sellers, Lagway, and Klubnik (wins).
For comparison, Rushing Stats (Net):
Simpson- 9.88 yds/game, 1.55 yds/carry
Reed- 43.63 yds/game, 5.45 yds/carry
Pavia- 55.67 yds/game, 5.06 yds/carry
Chambliss- 48.33 yds/game, 4.48 yds/carry
Sellers- 17.56 yds/game, 1.35 yds/carry
Lagway- 4.5 yds/game, .80 yds/carry
Klubnik- 16.57 yds/game, 2.27 yds/carry

Simpson is a heisman candidate. Bama offense is very balanced so I don’t see LSU winning this at all. Simpson and Hollywood Williams are finna rape the tigers

Dude dream on. Simpson is one of the best qbs in the country this year and he can beat you with his legs if he needs to.
That being said I hope you are right and we sneak out of there with a win somehow.

Don't think we win, but without a dynamic running QB totally gashing the D, and a Bama turnover or two, LSU has a fighting chance. I think they come out playing inspired and rejuvenated since Kelly is gone.

Simpson is extremely accurate and can run when needed. LSU will need to get in his head early if they want a shot.

OP makes a solid point and if Whits back Baker going to eat

Simpson has what we don’t have……… a very good offensive line.

But he can physically eat Nuss alive unless LSU counter with MVB.

Simpson is solid but the bigger problem is Nuss. He just isn’t that good and with a bad OL he’s flat out crap.

Not really, that offensive line has been meh, actually very similar to us. Bad tackles.
Simpson has just been that much better than Nuss.

My worthless take.
Not comparing bama to Clemson at all bust just saying IF WE CAN HAVE ANY SEMBLANCE OF BALANCE OF OFFENSE like game 1, and we are healthier in defense, and perk has some juice, we can make it a ballgame.
We also need to score TD’s if we sniff the red zone, and lord have mercy if we get a turnover on their end you have to make them pay with a TD.
FSU ran the ball on them, but if I recall a lot of that was their qb. Maybe we see MVB.

Makes no difference whatsoever. Baker is still your DC and Nuss is your QB.
Bama's offense has a pulse, so Baker won't be able to scheme to stop it. I don't care if Weeks is back and we are get Devin White and Michael Brooks back too. It's the scheme. Say it with me again....scheme scheme scheme...
Oh, and Nuss can't win an SEC road game against a ranked opponent.
Bama 38
LSU 13
If Nuss is benched
Bama 31
LSU 23

I give Nuss a less than 50% chance of making it through this game. They are going to tee off on his arse.
