The federal government corruption is so infuriating. Why pay taxes?

Why pay taxes?

Because I don't wished to be ground beneath the boot of Uncle Sam.

Cheer up.

Your state and local governments are thieves too.

You don’t have to pay taxes. Skip it and let us know what happens.

Was 1913 the end of America? With the Federal Reserve Act and 16th Amendment, thus the government was able to expand beyond its previous limitations, I.e. social programs, defense commitments. The government is too damn big, and worse, too damn big to fail. The excessive spending will never be curtailed, and the deficit will never be fixed. We gave ourselves enough rope to hang ourselves with. Dark times are approaching.

It was basically the end of the republic and the start of the empire.

A similar thing happened with Rome. They started out as a thriving republic, then became an empire. In it's end days, they had the same problems you mention.

So yeah, we are in a collapsing empire.

When he talks about using the ss# for other agencies, here is just one:

quote:

The Small Business Administration (SBA) Office of Inspector General (OIG) estimates that approximately 4.5 million COVID-19 relief loans and grants, totaling over $200 billion, were potentially fraudulent.

He talked about how little kids (or at least their ss#) we getting 100s of thousands in loans.

One of the things lost in this whole shutdown of govt. Its not just the money for illegals for healthcare, its putting back in place all the DOGE cuts, while cutting out some of the BBB items. ie the 50 billion for rural hospitals. Imagine, they want to take out budgeted money for rural, MOSTLY GOP, hospitals....and give their tax dollars to illegals to have anchor babies.

The GOP better die on this hill or America is dead.

Me too, dammit! I’ll never pay income tax again. I am willing to sacrifice to take this stand. And the timing has nothing to do with me having just retired.
