Lots of intentional smoke screens being leaked. The target has been engaged and is interested. The AD hire is key to the final decision as the money is in place. He is not 74 years old.

Heupel knows how to coach offense with consistent QB play and running game. He's also been to the playoff and has beaten Bama. Checks all the boxes as far as I am concerned.
