Curious about how his lawyers screwed him?
Regardless, as a parent of a 6 yr old, and another on the way, there is zero chance that if what had transpired with him transpired with me, that the Senator, her spouse, and any animals in the residence would still be breathing today.

I have a feeling this isn't going to go away. She should resign.

I feel for the guy. That is something he will likely never recover from.
Now, the part about his lawyers not being on his side raises a skeptical eyebrow. Is it possible that the evidence he is hoping for is just not there?
I hope everything gets flushed out for everyone sake.

Agreed. If you find yourself exterminating hominid vermine, spare the animals and contact the rescue services of Mr. And Mrs. TigerAxe. We have rescued, adopted and/or rehomed literally hundreds of animals from cats and dogs to reptiles and amphibians over the last decade.
Willing to travel any distance in the lower 48 to rescue animals from mentally ill liberal owners.
Animals deserve mercy. Progressive idiots do not.

Terrible. But there are issues.
Story from Chicago Tribune
Alyssa Ortman, 27, and daughter Khaleesi Fink were killed in the crash July 22 in Ashland County. Police say Bewley, 70, pulled out onto a highway in front of Ortman’s car. Ortman collided with Bewley, then spun across the median into the path of another vehicle, driven by Jodi Munson.
Ortman was traveling at 100 mph, nearly 60 mph over the speed limit, at the time of the crash, according to Wisconsin State Patrol investigation records. State troopers found a vape pen in her car containing Delta8, a compound similar to marijuana.
Police have reported that Bewley was distracted by a hands-free mobile phone at the time of the crash. Bewley also told police she had had cataract surgery on one eye the day before but her eyesight was fine.

Not an accurate depiction of events.
The driver of the vehicle containing the 5 yr old was going 60mph over the speed limit- 100mph when the crash occurred & a delta8 vape pen was found in the car.
Bewley had been cleared to drive & no charges were filed.

The Senator pulled out onto a street where the speed limit was 45. A car with a driver high on delta 9 traveling at 100 mph hit the senators car and went into the other lane of traffic hitting another car. The mother is responsible for the death of the child not the Senator. You would actually kill another person and their entire family because of an accident caused by a drug addict?

I agree. You simply end the bloodline of the perp.

Who is the perp in your scenario? The Senator who just pulled onto a road or the drug addicted mother high on delta 9 traveling 100mph in a 45 zone?

She’s at fault, but I’d be blaming myself going 100 mph in a 40. That’s reckless and he should be charged. I’m sure the insurance company is fighting this since if he was going a normal speed, the crash likely would not have fatalities.

Where does it say this?
I see he had a pen, but how do you know he was high?
If he had a bottle of wine in the car, does that make him drunk?
