start pushing ALEX GOLESH, as the next HC at LSU
Let's make sure the gov office, the BOS and fans know who he is and get him to start being part of the conversation.
Let's influence these guys to look forward to greatness for LSU Football
Some program is going to hire him and do exactly what we want LSU to be. Let's head that off and hire our best option for a multitude of reason....

I would be happy with Golesh.
I think he’s a good coach and has had time in the SEC. I really want an offense first guy too.

I think him and Lashlee would be good hires here (I know Lashlee just signed an extension)

Random fact but he was born in Moscow. Did not know that. Doesn’t matter, just thought it was a random factoid.

Napier was an offensive guy that never had an elite offense though

Napier's red flags were easy to see, even in 2022. This is why you have to be wary of coaches that are:

1- working on the side of the ball that the HC already runs successfully. In this case, Napier became hot under Dabo at Clemson. He went through the Saban assistant coach graduate program, as well.

2- Coaches that are propped up by a singular QB. In Napier's case, went 33-5 with Levi Lewis at ULL.

Napier's record in all other games: 29-30.

of course hindsight tells us he could never replicate what Lewis brought, but there were already red flags with his pedigree as an assistant.
