I believed and stated often that LSU would not fire Woodward in 2025 or 2026. I was very wrong.

BUT, I am glad to be wrong because I think BK was not gonna get it done at LSU.

I also did not know we had a few billionaires willing to ante up tens oof millions of dollars. THAT is really good news for LSU's future.

The BAD news is we have an incompetent, meddling governor who does NOT have LSU's best interests at heart.

Thought Kelly would get another year. Glad he's gone.

Didn't think CBK would be fired this year.

Shocked that Woody is done.

I thought BK would go this year. I also knew Woodward would have to go first. I didnt factor in that Tate leaving would put all that into overdrive

But here we are

My alma mater is without a President, Athletic Director, and Head Ball Coach...

To the Honorable Mr. Landry - Do, please, set our great flagship University in the right direction.

Thank you,

I was one for sure. We have money that I wasn’t aware of for sure.

I didn't think there was anyway they would eat that buyout any earlier than maybe after next season, unless we went 0-12, and the boosters couldn't stomach another season with Kelly. Didn't think 5-3 would do it, but I certainly believe it was time for a change, if someone was willing to pay the buyout.

As for Woodward, I didn't really think about it. Wouldn't say I saw it coming, but It's not terribly shocking.

I'm just glad I am not the only one who thought we would never fire Kelly mid-season let alone fire the AD. What a time to be alive!

Up until halftime of the A&M game, yes.

After that debacle, all bets were off on everyone. I thought everyone remotely close to the program was in peril.

Going into the season, I thought Kelly was safe this year; worst case scenario he could fire Sloan and bring in a good OC. Firing the coordinators is the usual move before the HC. He fired House and brought in Baker, that seems like it helped some. I know Sloan is already his 2nd OC, but Denbrock left on his own, he wasn't fired; Sloan was supposed to continue the Denbrock schemes.

Offensive struggles with the OOC games changed the dynamics. Not dominating La Tech, then SELU stuffing the run and getting some sacks... BAD mojo from that.
Losing to Vanderbilt, I think that's when I thought something could happen. Getting scorched by A&M, I'd have been shocked if it didn't happen.

Now, regarding Woodward, I didn't see that one coming. People were bitching, but they always bitch. Someone above him made the call with how much to pay (Kelly), or how little to (McMahon).

It certainly was not on my midseason firing bingo card.

In. Glad about Kelly, miffed about Louisiana and LSU being a laughing stock nationally due to governor Boucher.

For Coach Kelly, I absolutely assumed that we would fire offense coaches and Kelly Wood at minimum have one more year

That said what happened in the second half of the A&M game I knew something big was gonna go down because that was like a funeral in Tiger Stadium

So I am extremely pleased that we have an opportunity to start over because it was very obvious that Coach Kelly had lost. The fans had lost the locker room and he wasn’t being well received and he wasn’t working hard enough to win.

Once those factors are obvious, you must cut it off

It’s too expensive to double down and pretend it’s going to get better

I thought they would both get another year until the A&M game. As soon as that game ended I thought that might be it

That game wasn't something you can really recover from
