The older I get the less I care about other folks over my own family. I make a way no matter what to put food on the table for my family. If I have to do it I believe the entire country needs to. Now if you can’t work or you’re elderly that’s different. But if you’re able to work you should get zero assistance. If you can’t afford your kids you shouldn’t have had them. I’m just tired….. am I the only one? I have south Louisiana fatigue bad.

No, because most people on SNAP have money to buy certain luxury items that working people who are not on SNAP cannot afford.

Until we rebuild the entire system to jettison the illegals & the freeloaders, we have no idea who actually needs it.

No, any entitlement from Medicaid, Medicare to snap and in between should all be unconstitutional.

The only things we should be taxed for are the infrastructure, national defense, police, and fire.

Making somebody pay for another’s food, housing, clothing, medical care, kids school, it’s all theft.

More poor people want to be in America than any other nation. And DEMs want to give free health insurance to illegals. They need to change their priorities, which they won’t because they would rather funnel this money into different organizations to keep power.

I feel bad for true disabled people, elderly people...

I have no sympathy for the 26 year old mother of 5 children from 3 sperms donors who refuses to work but drives a new car and her and her children are wearing Jordan brand while she has her hair done and the nails popping. I do feel bad for said leech children because they didn't choose their parents but the fact is that 5 out of the 5 will most likely be just like her.

I feel bad for all and any children that depend on it. But nobody will starve.

local food pantries, church's, and neighbors will make sure of it.

I feel bad that many people that truly need assistance are being used by politicians as “leverage” to further their agendas.

I feel bad that many people who need assistance may not receive it due to waste, fraud, and major abuses of benefits programs .

No snap for Americans and 40b for Argentina seems a bit too rich for my blood.

There’s absolutely fraud and abuse with snap but at least it’s getting wasted on Americans.

Not since it became clear that probably well over half of the people that demand it could work to pay for their own shite.

Yep, snack cakes, chips, twinkies, steak, and shrimp among other things. Unfortunately as you pointed out there are some folks that need it but I would wager the majority do not. A crack down on fricking Section 8 needs to happen next.

Served at a soup kitchen for the homeless today. I don't know how many we served nor did you have time to really talk with them but I wondered about their stories as they came through. I honestly think some people live on the streets by choice. Many were obvious drug users by their mannerisms and I have no patience for them. But, I wish I had more time to talk them in a safe environment like today.

The program needs to end.

But there should be a transition period for those who are dependent on it. That would start with removing people who are just abusing the system and what they can buy should be for real food.

Looking forward to churches, charities, families, and communities handling people in need instead of federal tax dollars.
