What’s honestly smart right now is to go ahead and do the unusual unpopular firing of a coach early in a season, because it will be overshadowed by the LSU search. The pelicans could sort of quietly do this at least from a regional exposure level.

I think the Pels matchup with the Clippers decently (I’m delusional) and we can win tonight. Maybe it was BI that always carried us against them but we usually play them close.

No huge fan of Willie but...I'm gonna guess we have seen the last of Jordan "starting" at the center position...and I assume any astute fan would understand that starting DeAndre vs the Nuggets was Willie's attempt to pay tribute to DeAndre since he played the past 3 years for Denver...and even was part of their championship team.
DeAndre started the game and the 2nd half...but played only 12 minutes...Missi played 24 minutes. Do the math. It was a nice thing for Willie to do...we can badmouth Willie for many things...and rightfully so...but starting DeAndre vs the Nuggets...should NOT...be one of them.

Just want a win. 0-for sucks. I don’t think anything can save Willie at this point. I just wonder who THEY believe is an upgrade. I mean we just got Dumars.

And probably, somehow we will win tonight and he will be preaching after the game how they played harder, found their identity and are believing again in themselves, so Gale will keep his arse once more.

I’m going to continue to but I’m not happy about it. I am curious to see if Borrego will have a bigger role tonight possibly.
