There are very few things that can absolutely turn the state against you as much as screwing up LSU football.

He’s not screwing up LSU football. It’s been 5 days, let it play out. Regardless you shouldn’t mix sports and politics when voting, but this is Louisiana and the majority aren’t that bright so it probably will cost him if the team isn’t successful.

He has already had a negative impact and he sounds like some coonass fan ranting on tv. It’s all political. He’s a scumbag politician. A politician ranting on tv about people making too much money is the DEFINITION of pandering. He has no business interfering. There is no altruism in his actions. he has hurt LSU without a doubt. How much is yet to be seen.
Everything done could have been done behind closed doors without airing out the dirty laundry but Landry decided he needs to be in front of the camera as much as possible and let the whole world know he is in charge of everything LSU.
