Wasn't the reason BK got fired but was part of the discussions.He was the reason Woodward is gone now. He picked the next LSU president. He will probably help pick the next AD and football coach too.
Sad thing is he is a ULL guy and not even an LSU alumnus.

Well yeah. He’s the Governor.
If Kelly wasn’t fired, some of yall would be bitching for the Governor to put pressure on.
I remember a ton of people were asking for this.
The Governor appoints the Board of Directors. They have always been behind the scenes pulling strings. Landry is just too outspoken about it but they all do it.

He’s a delusional ULL guy who probably always didn’t like LSU.
Now that he’s drunk with power, he’s making some Lafayette boys really proud by sinking LSU, since ULL wants so bad to be the premier school in the state, which they never will be.
Calling yourself U of Louisiana, but having an entire student body of glorified high school commuters, isn’t ever going to be the brand of LSU.

Public schools have to serve louisiana seafood
Vouchers for private school
Banning vapes and Hemp/THC products
Cash transactions in tiger stadium
Inventing the body who investigates him (board of ethics)
Limiting who is allowed to access "public" information
Taking trips on the taxpayer dime and settling out of court with himself once caught (see board of ethics, hilariously ironic name btw)

Public execution of LSU AD/athletic department as a whole
Wanting to erect a Charlie Kirk statue on LSU's campus (why doesnt he suggest USL erect said statue?)

I'm torn on this. I'm from Lafayette area and know plenty people that went to usl that love Lsu football. When I was a kid, we all loved Lsu not Usl. But then there are some ULL clowns that hate Lsu because they ain't Lsu. I don't know if the gov is one of those people. I hope not and he realizes that Lsu football is the most important thing to people here. If not, hes a one term gov.

He also created that whole mess with the women's basketball team and the anthem. Did his whole little media tour then as well and also went and spewed a bunch of lies about it.
For those who may not remember, the women's basketball team never goes out for the anthem, as most programs around the country also do. He blasted them and said their scholarships should be taken away for not going out for the anthem. He then went on Fox news and completely lied about everything.

This is not good for the coaching search. Not many coaches are going to want to work for a governor.

Someone needs to be, this entire thing with Woodward reeks of a lack of institutional control, primarily fiscally. Kim Mulkey being heartbroken over losing the AD that decided she deserved to be paid more than Geno freaking Auriemma is pretty telling. He let the coaches do and have whatever they wanted without accountability, the only question is if that was due to incompetence or something more nefarious

Ironically, they have pictures of him at a Women's game earlier that year, he did not have any issue with it, but later he saw at as an opportunity to grandstand.
He also did the same thing with LSU football. I've been going to LSU football games since 1973 and the players have NEVER, not one time been on the field during the anthem in that span, yet he did one of his little videos demanding they be on the field.
No telling what other uninformed, out of context BS he's done I don't even know about because I try to avoid his self-aggrandizing media appearances all I can.
