He should be. The Pels are a decaying business contributing to urban blight and a net drain on the state taxpayers.

That’s not true. The team brings in money for the city from all star games and ticket sales. The Gayle might be lose money before the city does.
Also, the state can’t take over a privately owned team in a national league. The commissioner will take over before the state. If you hated when Stern took over the Hornets, then you’re gonna hate it if the state does. Just ask LSU when they miss out on Lane Kiffin.
