No shot he does this. Kentucky or Auburn will take him no matter what.

It’s clear that he’s still very green as a HC and has a lot of growing up to do

Didn’t seem to be a problem for Tommy Bowden and Willie Fritz

His QB and stud RB got poached by power 4 schools. It’s a different world now. Nobody is going to have a great team every year at the G6 level year after year anymore. If a W-L record is all your hiring from the group of six level anyway then you’re doing it wrong.

All of them had at least 3 years at Tulane before moving up. In the case of Fritz he rebuilt that entire program......because, it was dead.....very dead.

Bowden was at Tulane for 2 seasons.

And look at the program before he got there. They were dead then as well.

You obviously don't watch the games. Tackling and penalties have nothing to do with players being poached.

never understood what happened to him after Clemson

he was on everyone’s short list his last couple of seasons there, got axed halfway thru the 2008 campaign and basically fell of the face of the planet

hell, even Terry made it back to coaching eventually, why not Tommy?

Same. I don't know why he never became a coordinator at least. I figured he would have thought about going back down to a lower conference.
