Any coach was going to have trepidation being hired by Woodward who is an inch away from being fired or already a dead man walking.
It was going to be a major issue.
Landry just set the table for us to have a new AD and thus a fresh start and less negativity regarding the hire.

Sorry, the governor knows NOTHING about how LSU sports works. He should not be making any of these calls. If the new president wants a new AD, fire him and pay him his millions(dumb decision). But to come out and basically tell everyone that you are firing Woodward and not the new president is dumb and overstepping.
All it does is hurt the LSU brand.

Idk about a program crusher. But definitely a big bump in the road. Imo yall should be more concerned about the guvnah. Creating a lot of toxicity around the athletic department at LSU.

How do you know this? If the Money People want Woodward to be AD, then there isn't really much Landry can do about it. They should have messages on Lamar Signs in Louisiana that simply say that the State of Louisiana Taxpayer doesn't fund LSU Football contracts
