What’s your old man screams at cloud complaints of modern sports

When a player gets a first down, his first instinct is get up, find some space, starts pointing his arm/arms forward signaling a first down. We know it’s a first down. Get your arse ready for the next play.
When an nba player goes up to shoot a 3 and the defender is just touching and grazing the shooter’s jersey, the shooter flops like he’s been trucked and the whistle is blown for a foul. Then the shooter acting like he’s recovering from getting all shook up after missing a free shot.

I never complained about Kelly being the coach at LSU.

Targeting and QB protection rules being too strict

Patrick Cantlay shuffling his feet five million times before hitting a shot

Palming the basketball and walking with a whole lot of steps in layups.

The loss of tradition and rivalries in college football. The bloated conferences. Just stupid.

Defensive players celebrating a tackle after a 40 yard gain, or celebrating literally any play while down by 20+ points.

If I upvoted this any harder I'd injure myself.

Get rid of the DH and raise the mound back up in baseball. Having a DH takes so much strategy out of the game.
In football, targeting has to go.
In basketball, traveling is a foul, call it.
In hockey, I can't see that damn little puck. On TV make the damn thing glow or something and I might be able to watch.
Now, get the f*ck off my grass!

College football has a lot of issues but 2 i think sucks
1. Running clock on 1st downs
2. Clock starting back after out if bounds play.
All while the game times have not improved with less plays.

In CFB
"Run the fricking ball"
Team averaging 9 yards a carry and they want to throw every down, and game stays close because of it

Transfer portal is insane.
Walking and all the drama has killed the NBA
NFL- terrible officials- its hard to watch

TD, commercial, kick off, commercial
Whoever decided that should be a thing should be tarred and feathered.

1. Celebrations after every play in football (most egregious are corners celebrating after a QB sails the ball over the head of the WR)
2. NIL, transfer portal and 6th/7th year seniors (During the first couple of weeks of the season the announcer makes a point to say so and so is a tranfer from...)
3. Manchester City not being punished for overt violations of FFP
4. Unnecessary subscriptions and/or cable packages to watch your local MLB team

Dropping the ball at the goal line.
The fact that players have dropped it early more than once and yet players still try to drop it as close to the goalline as possible pisses me off so much.

To add to this, every time there’s a clip of these obvious calls, there’s a bunch of jackkasses in the comments saying “it’s legal it’s a [insert made up term] step”
Also, there’s tons of trainers/coaches on social media teaching kids how to travel/carry

In football, let's say a team is down 17 with 5 minutes to go and they score a TD. I HATE the massive celebration as if it's the 2nd quarter or something. There's a lot of wood to chop yet, hoss, You should act more like the soccer players who score in a similar situation, and then pick up the ball and sprint back to midfield so not a second is wasted celebrating.
Not sure if this is really the same category as the OK is asking for, but I simply CANNOT TAKE IT when, again in football, a team is losing and receives a kickoff or runs a play with zero time on the clock...AND GETS TACKLED WITH THE frickING BALL.
