I only roll around town with legal tints in a city of 8 million where they definitely don't care about limo tints but the motto is and I quote "don't give 'em a reason"

You sound retarded. Window tinting is a significant upgrade and drastically improves visibility for me. I don't drive a damaged Altima and I'm not trashy. Well, maybe a little trashy but it has nothing to do with my tint!

Don't neglect tint on the windshield. The tint on the windshield is almost completely transparent, and it's entire purpose is heat reduction.

Nope, you won't even know it's there unless you stare at the edges of the tint. It probably allows 97% light transmission. You don't think it's effective because it's not noticeable, but it for sure is.
ETA: I mean the windshield. The rest is max legal tint in TX, but the windshield transmits a disproportionate amount of thermal energy compared to all the other windows.

I also thought that window tint was trashy, but ceramic is a requirement especially if you live in TX or LA. Otherwise, good luck to your dash and interior.

I got tint when the left side of my face was getting sunburned.
