Two 10 win seasons at UCF, Two 10 win seasons at Tennessee plus one 9 win year. Won a title as a QB at OU. He’s defeated Bama twice, and had two years with top 25 defenses. Other than looking like Bobby Hill what would be the setbacks. It’s crazy the attention that Freeman, Lanning, and Kiffin are getting, but he seems to be looked over.

Because Tennessee wouldn’t let him leave for another SEC school.

He would likely be the easiest to obtain out of those 4 as well. Oregon has Nike money, kiffin’s agent is gonna try and drive up the price, and Freeman will likely on leave for Ohio State. I don’t think Huepel would say no if LSU came calling with more than what he makes at Tenner

He looks more like Shane Gillis’ downsy uncle.

The setback is our next coach needs to love Cajun cuisine more than grilled cheese sandwiches.

You might be able to get him but it would cost you. The Tennessee AD and Heupel are best buddies so I doubt he wants to leave.

Not a bad coach but I just don’t picture him here. Hard to describe, kinda like I felt about Kelly although I think Huepel is better than Kelly

if we hired huepel, he'd probably eat himself into a heart attack before year 3 or so

Heupel is NOT going to downgrade. It's laughable that you think that is an option.

A NIL collective that is recognized as one of the best.
The best AD in America at the moment.
A chancellor who will go to court swinging to protect the athletic programs

Donde Plowman and Danny White have turned UT into a premier place to be a coach.

10 years ago? NO. Now, YES.

"Get Heupel."

That dirty hit on Joe Burrow when he was UCF coach in the fiesta bowl game on 1/1/2019 left a bad impression about him that lingers to this day.
He’d be a better fit back at his alma mater when sooner fans finally have enough of Venables.
