Very average coach. Decent teams but nothing that makes me think he’d work here

Offense especially with the Lambos we get at wr and rb.

Saban, Miles, and Orgeron had not done much before becoming LSU head coaches so that should not be a criterion.

Good Lord at the people that post here.

Go ahead. Tell us who “has done something that makes you think they will work here”

He would probably do well here but his resume is not as impressive as some make it out to be.

Will be glad when the decision is made and all this Kiffin love fest ends.

He's elevated a tier 3 program into a legit contender. That's not "average".

He's at Ole Piss not a real school.

Kick arse consistently. Have his team prepared

Go on the road and almost upset UGA with less talent while LSu goes on the road and pissed down its leg to inferior talent

I could go on but that's enough for now

Stockholm Syndrome. I guess. He’s been a HC at high profile P5 colleges for 15 years. And hasn’t sniffed a championship, of any kind.

He won 11 games twice at FAU. They never won more than 8 in 2009

I like that’s he’s fielded top offenses with multiple quarterbacks. Means that it’s more him than the quarterback.

Some coaches catch lightning in a bottle and a great quarterback will make a coach look good. Hallman and Brett Farve are a great example.

You lock down one side of the ball with Kiffin and I like that.

If I’m Lane this is his year to strike while iron is hot. His name will never be this hot in coaching searches again. He was once like this as a young coach and he squandered all of his potential. This is his time to get the most money he will ever get or be the best coach he can be. Ole Miss won’t allow him to do both, but they will likely make him the highest paid coach in college football. If he is interested in more than that he’ll have to go to LSU, Florida or possibly Penn State.

Have you forgotten Hugh Freezes teams? Land sharks? They were indeed contenders.

The Kiffin of 10 years ago is not the Kiffin we see today.

Nobody will win a championship at Ole Miss. They do not have the talent to do it and never will.

He has taken that program to heights no one else has. And he’s doing it year after year.

Since his days at Bama, his offenses have been top tier every single year. Regardless of whether it’s Jaxson Dart or a D2 transfer.

Give this Kiffin LSU talent and he will be even better.

So who do you think would work here and why?

Judging Kiffin off of what he did 15 years ago is almost as bad as the people that said BK was a great hire because of what he did at Grand Valley State.

I’m already imagining what he’s going to do with Trey’Dez, Berry, AA, Kyle Parker and whatever QB he brings in
