I would like to see Frank Wilson has head coach.

He is a good guy and a player's coach. I think he would do well.
I realize that this is unlikely to happen unless the teams does significantly better in the next four games.
I also think he would relate well to the players and he won't lose the team.

He has a 26-40 record as a head coach at UTSA and Mcneese. Love Frank, but not as our permanent head coach.

Love Frank but you don’t pay that buy out in this day and age to go in house. I wouldn’t be shocked to see them win out but wouldn’t be shocked to see them just manage to beat WKY either.

It's almost like we can at least go on what Frank did as a HC in the past:
2016-2019 UTSA = 19-29
2020-2021 McNeese = 7-11
Career as HC = 26-40

UTSA - On January 14, 2016, Wilson was hired as the new head coach of the UTSA Roadrunners. He was fired on December 1, 2019. He finished his first stint as a college head coach with a 19–29 record with just four of those wins coming against teams that finished the season with a winning record.
McNeese State - On January 16, 2020, Wilson was hired as the head coach of the McNeese State Cowboys. He resigned on December 7, 2021, after posting a 7–11 record in two seasons.
IMO - Some people are better at position coaching and shouldn't have the keys to the program.

He gets the big stage for the next couple of months. I'm glad he is getting this chance, I just want him to stay if he doesn't get it.
Him, Raymond, Hankton and Williams...and I guess Baker too, they all need to stay on for next year for recruiting purposes and continuity... right?
