Former President Barack Obama was not pleased that former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris the day after President Joe Biden dropped out of the presidential race.

In his new book Retribution, ABC News's Jonathan Karl provided new details on what had been widely known - that Obama didn't want a quick coronation of Harris, but rather 'a process' to determine who would become the Democratic nominee.

Obama called Pelosi shortly after her endorsement of Harris became public.

'The Obamas were not happy,' a Pelosi confidant told Karl. 'This person summed up Obama's message to Pelosi as, essentially, "What the f*** did you just do?"'

Pelosi told the former Democratic president: 'That train has left the station.'

Biden instantly endorsed her as an F you to Obama.

This forced the other democrats to fall in line.

They're all trying so hard to distance themselves against the illegitimate swapping out of candidates in the interest of keeping claim on that Biden "war chest" of laundered donations.

Obama told him not to run in 2016 against Hilary, and then warned Biden about how bad his re-election was going vs Trump.
then Biden meets George Clooney and Obama and didnt recognize them as friends and had to be led off the stage by Obama.
so after fricking up his last chance at the debate, he endorses Kamala

the only cool thing Biden ever did was giving the Obamas the middle finger on the way out.

She finished 20th in the 2020 primaries and then wasn't primaried in 2024 AND didn't go through any kind of actual selection process. And this was AFTER she clearly made the calculated bet to stay quiet about Biden's condition (abrogating her Veep duties to monitor POTUS for necessity of 25thing him) in hope that she would be de facto POTUS soon after he was re-elected.

Meanwhile, Trump won the popular and EC vote and then proceeded to update the East Wing.

but MUH DEMOCRACY!!!

Exactly. Biden screwed the king makers plan and helped secure the dnc defeat.
Did you see how Trump Jill and Joe were all smiles together. They knew.

Imagine being Obama, who I believe has a very strong mind and is highly intelligent, having to deal with this pathetic version of the dem party. He wanted to lead the idiots, not have them infiltrate the power of his party. Bunch of old, mentally disabled, self important clowns and he's trying to herd them like cats.

It really do be hard for a player out there.

Reminder for the folks who own orange & white checked overalls:

Harris dropped out of the 2020 Democrat primary in December 2019 before a single ballot was ever cast.

It wasn't a coincidence Jill wore red when she went out to vote. She didn't vote for Trump, obviously, but it was just another middle finger to the Dems that shoved Biden aside.

I mean., even thinking like a D, what were they supposed to do? They skipped the primaries. This was the only card they had left.

Nah fam.

He’s a cosplayer. He’s highly emotionally intelligent and is great at reflecting to people a version of who they want him to be. There’s no there there.

Could have sent every primary voter a letter and asked who they wanted. Pick from the two or three most common responses.

At least that gives them both cover for their choice and an idea of which nominees would go over well.
