I found this on a Michigan State website. Damning about Kelly, and I hate that it's true.

Alright, BK was a dick to GAs 25 years ago and they’re still bitter.

This never happened in Michigan. It was actually Caddyshack.

It did not happen. Someone reported it. And used names.

He hit em with the Cleo McDowell

OK. Now, Michigan State fans ought to start dredging up some of their fondest memories of Nick Saban.

I think there's a story about him and a student worker at Notre Dame too. I can't recall exactly what happened, but apparently it was bad.

Anyone who's been a GA before knows this is the norm for how they are treated. You're a post-grad servant basically. You get the crap jobs at the crap time. I'm not saying it's right, but this isn't some revelation. It means Kelly has an ego, just like most professors on university campuses.

Quit the OUTLANDISH character assassination posts...pretty much LIES to begin with. Wish I could have downvoted this post about 1000 times! I used to think the National Enquirer was bad. Now, either these "stories" are outright lies or so biased by the supposed players reporting them.

Damn that’s some really intense vetting, baw
I don’t think Kelly is half as bad of a person as people are saying, but he’s certainly lazy for his salary.

Maybe being forced into that kind of work ethic is what led to their meteoric rise in football coaching?

This immediately came to mind.

Something about lightning perhaps
I mean, there’s not much doubt that he’s not a warm friendly guy. But we all figured that. Nobody ever accused Belichik or Saban of being warm and fuzzy, although Saban probably is fine in private. Many football coaches are prickly and we only ever care if they start losing.
Although such a personality may simply not work anymore, in this era of unrestricted free agency.
