I know, this board is doom and gloom after a loss, but we have seen this shite year after year. As long as Willie is at the helm, I have no cause for hope that we ever get ourselves back to .500 ball.

No. They're still on track to win 35-40.

No it’s not over, but it can quickly spiral out of control and be over if they don’t move on from Willie soon

Looking at the schedule, it feels like we will be 0-10 pretty quickly.

This season feels like a continuation of last season. Got a couple new faces, but the end results seem to be the same. We aren’t 0-3, we’re 21-64.

I mean...they'll probably still win a decent number of games if they stay healthy...if

but yes the season is over in terms of any real excitement

It's over. It's following the same pattern as our other lost seasons. Losses. Check. Close losses for no reason. Check. Best player checking out of early season game for lame injury. Check. Team gives up and gets blasted. Check. Same 5-10 posters on this board trying to convince themselves this season is still different than other seasons. Check.

We are heading for a 25 win or less season.

I’d say probably 11th in west with him. He isn’t a leader much like AD wasn’t

I do not see the Pels winning any more games than they did last year (20,21 -- I forgot).

This is going on, including the Saints DISASTER in action 2025-2026 season, and some clown now wants to bring a HOCKEY team to NOLA! More disaster sub-pro teams in action within Orleans Parish.

TRADE ZION, NOW!!!! Get rid of that albatross immediately!

They're not tanking and there will probably be 10 teams that will tank this year by the end of December and into January.

The Pelicans tried to lose games last season and still managed to win 21 games with dudes off the street and a bunch of players that are no longer in the league.

They will win a chunk of games this year. Whether if they matter or not is up to you.

They need to make a coaching move quick.

Guys like Poole, Queen, etc. will go total clown show without a real leader to hold them accountable.

Are we getting 3 or 4 really good players while not losing our best players?

If not, the season was always over before it started. This is a a bad basketball team, and this was apparent before the season started, if you didn't fall for the "In shape Zion can be a sneaky MVP contender" which was never ever going to be a thing for a top 30-40 player in the NBA.
