You can be sure that if it is an established coach, he can do nothing more than ultimately disappoint given that he's gonna ask for high 7 or 8 figures yearly with a generous buyout. If he has two seasons of 3 or4 losses, the calls to remove him will gin up, the he says ...."frick it! I'll take the generational wealth option and not coach anymore and take the analyst gig somewhere."

The is the most honest and realistic take I've seen from any LSU fan so far. Props.

If we go that route of a big name rather than an up and coming star just like when we hired Saban, LSU might as well keep Kelly because nothing will change whatsoever. Just. more of the same.....maybe that is what LSU should change its name to.....MOTS

Not necessarily... LSU has a penchant for not learning lessons.....even those that couldn't slap you in the face any harder. Stay tuned and watch
