new GM, coach starts 0-3 ... the Pelicans way is to sign Willie to a new 5 year contract

I mean we don’t have any reason to tank again … literally the only thing that matters is player development and establishing a culture of winning … obviously we have some young guys and we were never going to start 20-5 but we should be competitive and not be losing by 30 plus at home … Willie Green needs to go … but Gayle loves him to much as a person I guess ….

Brah, rinse repeat. Look at the Pels and Saints. Maybe it’s an ownership/Loomis problem. You frickers keep buying tickets so they keep making money. They don’t really care about winning.

I'm almost more frustrated Dumars kept Willie than trading the first-round pick. (Both bad)... Willie has been getting outcoached for 5 years now. You see the short leashes around the NBA, but for some reason Willie is untouchable.

I can't imagine Gayle is the one holding that decision from happening, but it could very well be the case.

The biggest indictment watching this fiasco.......hustle. The one thing you want to see is hustle. The Celtics B team played with fire. Sans Jose, the team played like Willie, soft as baby shite.

Pretty sure that is was Gayle’s decision .. I mean she would not let griffin fire him … she loves him for some reason .. maybe he makes a good guest at a luxurious dinner party

becasue he’s ultra religious and most importantly the cheapest coach in the league. Some of you protect her and say she’s not a bad owner yet she doesn’t want to pony up on an actual coach. Has two options to get a quality coach and won’t pull the trigger

This really has to be the most frustrating thing about this franchise. There’s being patient with a coach, and there’s keeping a bad coach in his what, 4th or 5th season? This season has been really tough, I wanted to believe we’d be better than expectations. 0-2, heading into a winnable game and Zion sits out with a bruise with 2 whole days between games. Going to be a lot of apathetic Pels’ fans soon.

Gayle is clearly one of the top 3 worst owners in all of sports, for so many reasons. Set aside the absolute shite products she's overseen for both the Saints and Pels on the field and court. The amount of fun fan experiences she's stripped away from both teams, increases in ticket prices every year, top 5 in concession prices in both leagues. She really does suck as an owner and really don't understand how anyone at this point could argue otherwise.

If last night wasn't enough reason nothing ever will be.

Jaylen Brown is one of the highest paid players in league history, has a title, and with a bad hammy had every reason to miss last night. But his coach preaches max effort and is a fricking psychopath when it comes to competitiveness and it shows in their teams effort.

Last night showed what a desperate team is capable of, and we dont have the leadership to convey that message. Its time for a change now.

Let's give Deandre Jordan some respect. Dude shouldn't be in the league and out hustled everyone but Jose.

Herb was screaming at a teammate and clapping his hands midway through the first at a teammate. He fricking knows what winning effort looks like.

it’s about time more people are realizing this. She’s cheap for modern day team owner standards and makes judgement calls based off emotions and friendship. She doesn’t truly care about winning or building a team for long term success.
