False Flag operation by end of week

Dems are in a pickle with the shutdown and cannot reopen the govt without pissing off the far left and cannot let SNAP benefits run out.
Odds are we see some sort of false flag operation like a mass shooting to change the media focus and narrative and rally the left for gun control measures so the Dems can quietly vote to reopen govt over the weekend?

In the end, all they want is money. The biggest disappoint in this entire thing is that there is no party trying to reduce spending. There is no party trying to push single issue bills. There is no party wanting to represent the people.
It's a standoff on who gets to eat the pie, and things like SNAP and military pay are merely political talking points.

If you’re already predicting it, how would you tell the difference between an event that actually proves your point and one that just looks that way because you were expecting it?
You know about confirmation bias. Do you think you’re somehow immune to it?

Another perspective is does some type of event need to be "created"?? Terrible crimes and tragedies occur daily across the nation, all the propaganda media needs to do is pick the worst, create a false narrative, and push it.

I do disagree with this - I think Massie and Paul are making a point. If it comes to it, I think they vote with a 60-vote to reopen in exchange for a prime speaking spot and kind words from Thune and Johnson.
